据外媒报道，巴黎奥运会滑板项目的铜牌获得者，美国运动员尼亚·休斯顿（Nyjah Huston）在社交媒体上吐槽：奖牌质量太差，已经开始掉色了......

Nyjah Huston won bronzefor the USA in the Men’s Street event on his skateboard at the Paris Olympics.Hutson, 29, has since returned to America and is staying in Laguna Beach, California.

尼亚·休斯顿在巴黎奥运会上代表美国队参加男子滑板街式赛，并获得铜牌。现年29岁的休斯顿已经返回美国，目前居住在加州拉古纳海滩。

The skateboarder had been enjoying his break with friends and soaking up the sun as well as showing off his new medal. However, the medal is no longer looking as clean as it was when awarded to him.

这位滑板运动员一直在和朋友们享受假期和阳光，并炫耀他的新奖牌。然而，这枚奖牌已经不像当初授予他时那么干净了。

In an Instagram video he shared, the medal could be seen looking batteredand peeling.

Hutson insisted that the quality of the metal may not be as “high” as he initially thought and called for it to be improved.

“Alright, so these Olympic medals look great when they’re brand new,” Huston said in an Instagram story. “But after letting it sit on my skin with some sweatfor a little bit and letting my friends wear it over the weekend, they’re apparently not as high quality as you’d think. It’s looking rough.”

无独有偶，另一位英国运动员也表示她的铜牌似乎出现了质量问题。

Yasmin Harper, who representedGreat Britainat the Paris Olympics, also suggested that her bronze medal had some noticeable discoloration. Harper took the bronze following her performance in the womens 3-meter synchronized springboard diving event on July 27.

代表英国参加巴黎奥运会的跳水运动员雅思敏·哈珀也表示，她的铜牌上出现了一些明显的变色。哈珀在7月27日女子3米板双人跳水比赛中获得铜牌。

这也太尴尬了吧......建议获奖运动员们赶紧好好检查一下自己的奖牌。

一个奥运冷知识：金牌不是纯金做的，铜牌也不是纯铜做的。

The gold medals weigh 529g and are not pure gold, but made of silver and plated with 6g of gold. The silver medals weigh 525g and the bronze ones 455g and are a copper, tinand zinc alloy.

金牌重529克，不是纯金的，而是由银制成，表面镀了6克黄金。银牌重525克，铜牌重455克，是由铜、锡和锌合金制成。

据悉，巴黎奥运会的奖牌都是由巴黎知名珠宝品牌尚美巴黎（CHAUMET）设计，巴黎造币厂负责制作，对于运动员反馈的奖牌质量问题，官方已经做出了回应。

The Paris Mint responded to the criticism by promising to "systematically replace" any Olympic medal that deteriorated.

巴黎造币厂回应批评，承诺将“系统性地更换”任何出现损坏的奥运奖牌。

Meanwhile, Olympics organizers said they will conduct a study of any medal that they learn is damaged. Upon review, a medal will be re-engraved if it is deemed necessary.

与此同时，奥运会组织方表示，他们将对任何已知受损的奖牌进行评估。经过审查，如果有必要，将重新制作新奖牌。
